KINGDOMS COLLIDE
Collisions occur when two objects try to occupy the same place at the same time. Sometimes collisions are accidental, as in automobile collisions. Sometimes collisions occur intentionally, as two or more players in a football game.
Collisions are not always physical. Sometimes collisions occur when ideas, values, and priorities try to occupy the same place in a person’s life.
Jesus said, Don’t assume that I came to bring peace . . . (Matthew 10:32-39). There WILL be an inevitable collision within every person. It will be the collision between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of this world. Jesus drew a clear choice in the passage above.

Week of Prayer and Offerings
This is Valeria Sherard Week of Prayer and Emphasis for Alaska Baptist State Missions. There are prayer guides available in the church Lobby to guide you to pray for specific needs across Alaska that are a part of our Baptist cooperative missions work. FBCPalmer joins dozens of other churches and missions to carry out the Great Commission in Alaska. All our “Valeria Sherard / State Missions” Offerings will be sent to the Alaska Baptist Convention office where they will be combined with offerings from our sister cooperating churches. During this week’s emphasis, we also join our prayers in the chorus of Alaska Baptists praying for all Alaskans to hear the gospel story of Jesus. Our church offering goal is $2026. You can give using the special offering envelopes available or through the church’s online giving portal below.
